So I have been reading this book lately called "Why ProLife?" Its been an interesting read to say the least. The material that the book covers topics like human life starts at conception and the reality that an unborn baby is its own life and not an "attachment" to the mother. These are all concepts that I believe whole heartedly but there is something else that the book is teaching me.
How many times do we have personal convictions about a topic but can't speak to the cause? For instance, You might belive in God but don't know why or you might believe that corporate punishment is wrong but don't even understand the meaning. Why are we so willing to just believe and not know why? I guess the point is that the book has become a challenge to me to study more about what I believe spiritually, ethically, and morally. What have you been reading that has given you a foundation for your cause or belief?
